Company owner John Mason was born and bred in Christchurch and is a proud Cantabrian. He came from a family of builders and went straight into a building apprenticeship after leaving school. He started John Mason Builder in 1999 and now offers his clients three decades of building experience.
​Placing a great focus on quality, John is a member New Zealand Certified Builder and a Licensed Building Practitioner. He is on site working alongside his team, personally over seeing every aspect of the build. It is this highly personal service which his clients value and has ensured many of them have returned to build with John Mason Builder again.
